The Zea Mays IPIS Foundation arises from the idea to organize, establish, encourage individuals and organized groups, and provide them with tools that help potentiate their capacities. We will be helping people who need support and cooperation in the implementation of their ideas, projects, plans and processes using the Zea Mays Model, in order to consolidate and empower their environment and society through Innovative, Productive and Inclusive Social projects (IPIS, by its acronym in Spanish).
From the moment the project idea comes to the Foundation, it becomes, according to its approach, in a work that requires the support of the Foundation and coordinating who presented the plan, which is named "sower", because grows its social proposal to achieve their respective “harvest” with successful, effort and constant evaluation.
During the process of "germination", the project goes through five steps in which is determined and attend the proposals towards viability, self-sustainability, relevance, learning and development, based on a traditional methodological model and recognized at international levels, plus the growth process of the corn plant. All this process has the transverse axis of evaluation at each level of the process.
As a result, changes in the environment are obtained; more participative and inclusive communities; empowered, integrated and civilized societies and groups; socioeconomic, working and spiritual education and growth; among others.
